Yes, I said 100 garlic cloves, not 40 like the rest of the recipe's out there haha! #Obsessed

  • 3 tablespoon olive oil

  • 4 chicken thighs

  • 4 drumsticks

  • Kosher salt

  • Fresh cracked black pepper

  • 100 cloves of garlic, peeled*

  • 1/2 dry white wine

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped




Heat oven to 350 degrees F.


Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet, over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook turning once, until browned, about 15 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside.


Reduce heat to medium and add garlic to skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 6 minutes.


Add white wine and cook, scraping the bottom of the pot, until slightly reduced, 2 to 3 minutes. Add stock and bring to a boil. Transfer 1/4 of the garlic to the plate with the chicken, then mash remaining garlic into stock.


Return the chicken with the garlic cloves to the skillet and bake until chicken is glazed and tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
