Rolf’s German Restaurant

Rolf’s is a christmas dream come true. Located on the corner of 3rd avenue and East 22nd Street it’s one of the most romantic places I’ve had the pleasure to explore.

Walking up to the restaurant, right away you are caught off guard by the extravagant christmas decorations and lighting. Upon entering the restaurant you are welcomed by a warm ambiance of christmas decorations and the smell of hot malt wine. Everyone is mid-conversation and smiling and the atmosphere is so cheery with the season. The music is of course non other than christmasy glistening carols that complement the visual of Rolf’s German Restaurant.

Unfortunately my friend and I came here too late and the kitchen was already closed, but we did sit and converse for hours over malt wine. Listening to christmas carols along while talking life, love and all the crazy things that we have come across in our lives. The prices are great and when I got a glimpse of the menu I saw that its my homy eastern european cuisine. If you are in the area and need some holiday cheer or a good malt wine. This is the place to go!
