Salmon Run Fish House - Lee, MA

If you ever happen to be traveling through or staying in Lee, Massachusetts, I highly sugget visiting Salmon Run Fish House. This relaxed seafood operation located on Main St, offers a full bar as well as booth seating.

Being a cute little town, there isn't much to choose from. As the place was highly recommended by a family friend, on the last day of our anniversary trip, Tal and I stopped here for dinner. There is two hour parking outside, and finding a place wasn't hard. We got to the restaurant around 5PM and the space was already half full. The ambiance was very cozy and the dimmed lights made the restaurant feel right at home.

We were sat at the booth right by the entrance, and I ordered a Smuttynose porter - YUM. Our waiter brought over our beverages quickly, and a loaf of fresh bread. We ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer, I ordered the Lobster Roll, and Tal had the Salmon with Shrimp & Garlic Butter. As recommended, we also ordered a side of sweet potato fries.

The coconut shrimp was amazing, with a side of some sort of horseradhish sauce. When our main courses arrived, they were big portions. Tal's salmon seared to perfection, and my lobster roll was perfect - the lobster was fresh and the salad wasn't too mayonaissy.

The prices were really fair, the service very attentive and the ambiance comfortable. The restaurant is perfect for all: a date, family outting, drinks with friends. If you are passing through or staying in town I highly recommend visiting this restaurant as it has quality food and is a pleasant experience.
